David Orowitz is Senior Vice President of Development at L&L Holding Company and focuses on the company's development, redevelopment, and acquisitions within Manhattan.
Prior to L&L, Mr. Orowitz served as Senior Vice President, Acquisitions and Development at the Trump Organization, where he managed all aspects of the investment and development process for the company’s hotel, residential, retail, and mixed-use properties and was responsible for more than $1 billion in investments and transactions. Major projects included the procurement and redevelopment of the Old Post Office in Washington, D.C. and the acquisition of the Doral Golf Resort and Spa in Miami. In this role, he also was responsible for financing acquisitions, development, and stabilized properties as well as sourcing, negotiating, and overseeing international brand licensing opportunities. Previously, he worked as Vice President at Kaiser Associates in Washington, D.C., where he led a consulting practice selling and delivering strategy engagements to clients including Sprint, Pfizer, IBM, Comcast and General Mills.
Mr. Orowitz received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Hamilton College and earned a Master of Business Administration in Real Estate with Honors from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
