Dan Braccia is a security professional with more than 20 years of experience across the security industry spectrum (federal and municipal law enforcement, corporate security, and real estate security, including campus, commercial, and residential properties).
Mr. Braccia has extensive experience in security and safety operations, and crisis / emergency management. He was an Officer with the NYPD until 911 when he chose to become a Federal Air Marshal. He has been responsible for security operations for commercial, campus and healthcare facilities. As the Director of Regional Community Recovery, Dan led recovery efforts for NYS Super Storm Sandy.
Mr. Braccia has a BA from Mount Saint Mary College and a graduate award from the Department of the Treasury. Additionally, Mr. Braccia has completed the Federal Law Enforcement Training Academy Advanced Operational Leadership Management Course and the New State Municipal Law Enforcement Instructor Certification for Police Science. Mr. Braccia holds a New York State Private Investigator License and is the qualifying officer for Metropolitan Security Group.
